Loblaw recruitment teams partner with a number of post-secondary schools and alumni programs across the country to ensure that our part-time and full-time opportunities are visible to students. Internal Hires

A significant effort is made to connect with experienced colleagues and students who are already working at our stores, distribution centres and offices. We believe the experience that colleagues have acquired in our business will better prepare them for future opportunities at Loblaw.

Internal colleagues also have the ability to view all of the opportunities listed on our internal job posting site and job posting boards across the country. Colleagues are encouraged to have ongoing discussions with their Managers about their career interests and objectives.

The job offer is always an exciting time, and it is immediately preceded by the last step in our hiring process for external candidates – a reference check that includes a criminal history check. The process is quick and simple, and we are often able to confirm results within 24 hours.

The advantage of submitting your application electronically is that it will be made available to the human resources representative that is recruiting for the position.
