Work Close to Home
Stores are the heart of our business and provide you with the opportunity to learn up close. With 576 corporate stores across the country, you can work close to home while you do it!
Learn and Grow
Whether it’s part-time employment while you are going to school, or a full-time career, working at a Loblaw store can offer you a flexible and inclusive work environment that is dedicated to your learning and growth.
Loblaw has invested in learning by creating a number of Learning Stores across Canada to support the training of new store colleagues. We supply colleagues with the skills and knowledge they need to do a job well and provide great customer service! Our investment in training ensures that you know your job and understand business priorities.
Have you just finished school? If you have recently graduated from a university or college, this may just be the beginning. You can take your learning to the next level and apply to our grad@Loblaw program. Our paid rotational program lets you see our Company from different angles. Once you've been hired, you'll rotate through various roles and get an up-close-and-personal feel for our business. Your final placement may be in departments such as operations, merchandising, HR, finance, supply chain, or IT. For more information, visit grad@Loblaw.
Seizing the opportunity to make a difference is more important than simply progressing up the ladder. Colleagues with this attitude and approach will find Loblaw challenging, inspiring and highly rewarding.
Being a colleague means you will be eligible for some great incentives and benefits. From our 10% Colleague Discount Program to our Employee Share Ownership Plan, we have you covered. Eligible Loblaw colleagues also enjoy the benefit of corporate-rate fitness club memberships – for themselves as well as their eligible family members! Stay fit, have fun and save money!
Helping You Help Others
We think that giving your time to a charity or not-for-profit community organization is one of the best things you can do in life. That’s why we want to help colleagues do even more through our Volunteer Grant Program. Loblaw colleagues who volunteer a certain amount of their time to a charitable or not-for-profit organization can apply for a $500 donation to that organization from Loblaw.
