• More Grab and Go Options: For quick and convenient lunch and dinner pickups or weekend entertaining, we have a daily in-house sushi bar, a refreshed salad bar, daily soups and a refrigerated grab-and-go beverage case. Our deli also now features a cheese wall, packed with varieties perfect for charcuterie lovers and party hosts. Our fresh bakery offers tons of options including single serve donuts and freshly baked goods.

Store Owner Russell Fisher is a seasoned grocery expert, having held various Manager and Store Manager roles across stores including valu-mart, Loblaws and Real Canadian Superstore.

"I started my career at valu-mart on Mara Road in Beaverton when I was 15. Now, it is a privilege to lead a store in the city that I call home and be able to give back to the community,” he says. Fisher is active in his community as a volunteer firefighter and is always supporting countless organizations in the community including food banks, sports organizations and seniors' groups.

Fisher’s Your Independent Grocer, located at B-30 Beaver Ave, Beaverton, Ontario, will be open Sunday to Saturday from 8 AM to 9 PM. The store employs approximately 150 dedicated team members, all eager to serve the community.
