Making PC ExpressTM better for everyone

At PC ExpressTM, we know convenience matters. Every week, hundreds of thousands of customers use our app and website to order groceries for pickup or delivery. Behind the scenes, our dedicated personal shoppers carefully pick and prepare each order — making sure customers get exactly what they need, on time. 

Over the past six months, we’ve introduced exciting digital updates designed to support our store teams and give customers even more control and convenience. 

Smarter tools for store teams 

One big change is Digital Order Review. Instead of printing paper order summaries, our team members now see all order details — notes, status updates, and special requests — right on their iPhones or screens in the store. This shift helps reduce paper waste and keeps everything organized in one place, so personal shoppers can focus on what matters most: preparing our customers’ orders the way they like. 

We’ve also upgraded Axonify, our learning and communication platform. Now, store teams get all their important updates and messages in one easy-to-navigate timeline tab. Plus, the new ‘tasks’ tab helps them manage daily responsibilities digitally — cutting down on paper checklists and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. 

For department leads, the new ‘persona’ scheduling tool matches team shifts with order volumes more precisely. This means having just the right number of people on hand during busy times, keeping things running smoothly. 

Behind the scenes, AI-powered fraud prevention is also helping protect stores and customers alike by catching suspicious orders early. It’s another way we’re building trust and confidence in PC Express. 

More control and convenience for customers 

We’ve also made big improvements for customers. Now, when an item is out of stock, customers can review and approve substitutions directly in the app or online — no more missed calls or delays during pickup. 

At checkout, customers can also use PC® gift cards, just like in-store, making payment easier and more flexible. 

Additionally, we’ve added the option to include free product samples during checkout, so customers can try something new with their order — all at their choice. 

If an order isn’t quite right, customers can quickly report issues right from their Order History. This self-serve option helps speed up resolutions and keeps everyone happy. 

For those who regularly order the same essentials, the new Subscribe & Earn feature automatically adds these products to the cart and rewards customers with bonus PC OptimumTM points. It’s an easy way to save time and get rewarded for shopping.
