We're thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of our newly renovated store at 5016-51A Ave, Red Deer, AB on May 8th, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. Since 1992, we've been part of the Red Deer community, and we're excited to showcase our expanded selection of Natural Foods, a brand-new Beauty Department, a revamped Home and Toy Department with an interactive area for kids, an expanded Multi-Cultural section (including frozen), and a larger assortment of local vendor products – all designed to bring you great value every day.

At Real Canadian Superstore, we're bringing you fresh produce, meat & seafood, bakery items, and a pharmacy, all in one place. In addition to bold, bright lighting and eye-catching in-store signage, the renovated store includes the following revamped sections:

• Beauty Department: Offers makeup consultations with a beauty advisor to help you look and feel your best.

• Kids Zone & Sweet Shop: A paradise of toys and treats, with industry-leading activations that can be seen outside the aisles.

• Pet Department: Everything you need to pamper your furry friends.

• Home Department: From small appliances, home organization, outdoor decor and more, the home department offers customers the latest trends to help them create their dream homes.

• International foods: Our enhanced multicultural selection is packed with flavour, including T&T products

• Local vendors: Customers will find local vendors like our new local potato vendor, Scholing, outside of Lacombe Alberta, showcasing our commitment to supporting Canadian businesses.

The store also offers more value for customers than ever such as special weekly, monthly and even year-long pricing on many grocery essentials – with large and colourful signage that makes deals easier to find, from “Price Drop,” “Always $” and “Hit of the Month,” to “PCO Member Only,” “Hot Deals” and more. With 20 years at Loblaw, Store Manager Rose Davies began her career as a Leisure Clerk and steadily progressed through various roles before becoming Store Manager of the Red Deer location in 2022. Originally from Ontario, she has called Central Alberta home for 39 years and is dedicated to serving the community.

As part of the store’s commitment to supporting the local community, Real Canadian Superstore actively partners with the Red Deer Food Bank and the Veteran’s Food Bank. The store also supports the Women’s Shelter, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the Angela’s Lajeunesse Memorial Basketball tournament.
