Weston Loblaw Settlement

Bread

Loblaw and George Weston are settling class action lawsuits relating to the Companies' role between 2001 and 2015 in a decade-old, industry-wide arrangement in which Canadians were overcharged for some bread products. We are sorry for the role that we played in this arrangement, which we discovered and self-reported in 2015. Reaching a settlement on this matter was the right thing to do.

We will continue to work hard to keep costs low, deliver value, and earn Canadians' trust.
