We're thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of our newly renovated store at 11 Bryne Drive, Barrie, ON on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. This location has been a part of the Barrie community since 1997, and we're excited to unveil changes, including a wider selection of International Foods, a brand-new Beauty Department, a revamped Home and Toy Department, an expanded selection of Natural Value items, and a larger assortment of local vendor products – all designed to bring you great value every day.

Store Manager Jim Grootjans, born in Barrie, has been a resident since 1997, the same year the store was built. Joining the company in 2008, Jim has progressed through several positions, starting as a Part-Time Produce Clerk, then Produce Manager, Assistant Store Manager (ASM), and now holds the role of Store Manager.

As part of its commitment to the local community, Zehrs Barrie is making a charitable donation of $5,000 to the Barrie Food Bank and actively supports local organizations such as the SPCA.
