Have you heard the news? Frozen juice is back

Frozen juice concentrates may be a small category, but when they disappeared from Canadian stores earlier this year, customers noticed. The reaction underscored the importance of affordable, practical products that help families stretch their grocery budgets.
After learning that frozen juice would no longer be available through existing suppliers, Loblaw teams moved quickly to source a new supplier and bring the category back under the no name® brand. The result is a new assortment of frozen concentrates arriving in stores this month, including White Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Limeade, Grape Punch, Fruit Punch and Berry Punch.
"Customers told us this product still matters to them," says April Preston, SVP, Control Brand Product Management and Innovation. "Whether it's affordability, convenience or reducing waste, frozen juice continues to meet an important need for many families. Bringing it back was another way to deliver value where customers are looking for it most."
Frozen juice has long been a practical option for households because it can be prepared as needed and stored in the freezer for months. Its extended shelf life may help reduce waste and gives families the flexibility to stock up when it makes sense, making it a valuable option for budget-conscious shoppers.
The return of frozen juice is a reminder that delivering value isn't always about introducing something new. Sometimes it's about listening to customers and ensuring trusted favourites remain available when they matter most.
