Metrolinx, in partnership with Loblaw Companies Ltd., is making it easier and more convenient for transit riders to access PRESTO services in their communities.

Beginning this summer, customers will be able to access select PRESTO services at additional No Frills stores in Toronto, Mississauga, Oshawa, Hamilton and Burlington, with the 29 locations being added over the coming weeks. This brings the total number of participating stores to 34 across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Ottawa.

This retail partnership builds on a successful pilot last September, which introduced select PRESTO services to five No Frills stores in Toronto and Ottawa. The rollout to more No Frills stores provides transit riders with greater access to PRESTO services, right in their neighbourhoods.

Customers will be able to buy a new PRESTO card, load funds on a new or existing card and set a fare type on a new card at participating No Frills location(Open in a new tab)s. Specialty No Frills-branded PRESTO cards will also be available to purchase for a limited time, while quantities last.
